If we send enough of these letters, we hope we’ll be able to get President Obama to ride around the White House grounds on one of our electric bicycles.

The Green Riders

  Dear President Barack Obama,

            Last April, on their mother’s eighty-eighth birthday, Oliver Bock and Catherine Bock thought it would be fun to ride electric bicycles from California to Washington DC.

Now, they have  planned a route that features sustainable solutions happening all across the country. The goal of The Green Riders' trip is to open the eyes of their followers about all of the wonderful innovations in green technology happening now. The trip will also motivate people to take steps to make their own lifestyles more sustainable. Furthermore, it will inspire people not to give up hope because they will see all of the positive solutions featured by The Green Riders.

            In order for all of this to happen, the Green Riders need the biggest fan base they can get. If they can get a meeting with you, Mr. President, it would be the best possible way to build support. When people hear that you will be meeting with the Green Riders, they will be even more excited.  Please, Mr. President, agree to meet with the Green Riders for lunch on June 22nd.   If you become a fan, you will really help propel the grassroots green movement forward.
